Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Livelihood assets terhadap livelihood strategies, pendapatan, ketahanan pangan, dan sustainable livelihood pada petani salak pondoh di Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Responden penelitian adalah petani salak pondoh yang dipilih menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yang sesuai dengan karakteristik populasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel berdasarkan Sustainable livelihood Framework (SLF). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani salak pondoh di Kabupaten Sleman layak dan menguntungkan untuk diusahakan dengan penerimaan sebesar Rp77.577.959/ha/tahun, keuntungan sebesar Rp41.339.708/ha, dan nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 2,14. Kondisi aset penghidupan petani tergolong cukup baik, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal akibat keterbatasan irigasi, akses pasar, penyuluhan, serta rendahnya motivasi petani. Hasil analisis SEM-PLS menunjukkan bahwa Livelihood assets berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap livelihood strategies. Selanjutnya, livelihood strategies berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan dan ketahanan pangan. Pendapatan dan ketahanan pangan juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap sustainable livelihood. Namun, Livelihood assets tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap pendapatan maupun ketahanan pangan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi penghidupan berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang penting dalam menghubungkan aset penghidupan dengan hasil penghidupan yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, penguatan kapasitas petani dalam mengelola aset yang dimiliki serta pengembangan strategi penghidupan yang adaptif menjadi faktor penting untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan penghidupan petani salak pondoh di Kabupaten Sleman.
