Abstract

Infaq adalah dana yang dikeluarkan secara sukarela (ibadah sunnah) atau sebagian dari harta untuk tujuan yang diwajibkan oleh hukum islam. Allah SWT menciptakan agama islam sebagai rahmatan lil alamin, rahmat bagi semua makhluk hidup. Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember telah menghasilkan mahasiswa yang bersemangat untuk berinfaq. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menentukan tingkat minat dan motivasi berinfaq mahasiswa Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Mu-hammadiyah Jember terhadap kesadarah sosial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sumber data primer. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode penyebaran kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel 101 responden yang diambil melalui Purposive Sampling. Untuk uji asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, uji simultan, uji hipotesis, dan uji koefisien determinasi digunakan untuk menganalisis data, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel minat secara parsial memengaruhi kesadaran sosial mahasiswa, sedangkan variabel motivasi secara parsial tidak memengaruhi kesadaran sosial mahasiswa. Selain itu, variabel minat berpengaruh terhadap kesadaran mahasiswa secara bersamaan.
