Korelasi antara Kuantitas Manusia dengan Volume Sampah di Kota Salatiga

Studi ini bertujuan mempelajari hubungan antara kuantitas manusia dengan volume sampah di Salatiga, menggunakan tiga indikator kuantitas manusia, yaitu jumlah penduduk, jumlah rumah tangga, dan rata-rata anggota per rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan data volume sampah dan jumlah penduduk dalam periode 2005-2024 dan data jumlah rumah tangga serta rata-rata anggota rumah tangga dalam periode 2017-2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi Pearson dan Spearman. Penelitian ini tidak menemukan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara jumlah penduduk dan volume sampah, tetapi menemukan korelasi signifikan positif antara jumlah rumah tangga dengan volume sampah serta korelasi signifikan negatif antara rata-rata anggota rumah tangga dengan volume sampah. Pemerintah Salatiga perlu mencari terobosan kebijakan untuk mengubah perilaku rumah tangga dan anggotanya dalam mengelola sampah melalui kebijakan yang bersifat insentif maupun disinsentif.
