This study explores the relationship between renewable energy and low-carbon economic development. It defines a low-carbon economy and renewable energy sources, highlighting their intrinsic link. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the research examines global practices and identifies challenges and solutions related to renewable energy adoption. Case studies from countries like Germany, Greece, and Spain demonstrate significant progress in reducing carbon emissions through renewable energy. However, challenges such as technical barriers, high initial costs, and policy limitations remain. The study concludes that technological innovation, international cooperation, and robust policy support are essential for overcoming these obstacles and achieving a sustainable, low-carbon future
